Mauro Falsini, (Arezzo, I, 1972).
His focus is mainly related to the intimate analysis of social issues related to the relations between man and his territory, chasing the meeting point between personal memories, rationality and feeling.
His training in the scientific field pushes him to experiment alternative paths that move from photography, video, and installation, starting from uncommon materials belonging to the collective memory, reworking them in a renewed stylistic code, also supported using digital techniques. In the last period, he embarked on the path of directing, initially using video as an installation component, up to the production of short films. Many elements contribute to this approach: the film product with its narrative content, but also the design and production aspect that is deeply connected to socio-anthropological issues, with a focus on the study of the dynamics and evolutionary processes of contemporary civil society.
